Fénix Legendario Studios turns ten
The production company Ronny A. Sosa founded in Santiago marks a decade and announces new projects and international alliances.
Fénix Legendario Studios celebrated its tenth anniversary in December 2025. Founded in Santiago de los Caballeros by Ronny A. Sosa with Biviana Bautista, Julio Grisanty and Adalberto Jiménez, the company has spent the decade making fiction, documentary and animation, including La Bruja, Zoilo Volará and Nuestra Tierra.
The celebration announced upcoming projects, among them Boru, a documentary about Japanese migration to the Dominican Republic and the Dominicans who emigrated to Japan, and a biopic of baseball player Miguel Tejada.
Coverage of the anniversary also highlighted Fénix's strategic alliances with production houses in Argentina, Mexico and the United States, part of its international collaboration strategy.
